Midlothian Friends Meeting (Quakers)
900 Preservation Road (re-addressed from 2502 Huguenot Springs Road)
Midlothian, VA 23113
We are a Quaker group that worships weekly at 11am using 'expectant waiting' instead of a pastor.
We strive to seek that of God in ourselves and others by listening to the inner Light that was present in Jesus when he walked the Earth. That same Light is still present in us all, helping us to experience the fullness of Love in our lives. We hope you will come visit us. All are welcome. We take no collection and want you to dress as you wish (jeans are fine; as well as shorts and t-shirts). We are affiliated with Friends General Conference (FGC) and value the spirit of Jesus' teachings as well as other spiritual inspiration that encourages that same spirit of love, forgiveness, and compassion. Our 'expectant waiting' worship is each Sunday at 11am for one hour at our meetinghouse. Come experience an hour of peace surrounded by silence with occasional, intermittent vocal ministry offered by any one moved by the Spirit to do so. We are seekers who welcome your presence as we seek a unity of Spirit rather than a unity of doctrine.

Interview Q&A
How long have you been in business?
Midlothian Friends Meeting has been in existence since 1988.
What is your primary product or service?
For 400 years Quakers have sought that of God in everyone. We are a very open and inclusive spiritual society that seekers may find helpful in their spiritual journey. We worship in silent expectation, waiting for the Spirit of God to guide us from within. We have no human leader or pastor. We all minister to each other. We do not take a monetary collection, and dress is casual (come as you are). We invite you to experience Quaker worship with us!
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We come from many faiths. Quakers have the teachings of Jesus, which are based on love and forgiveness, as our foundation. Yet, we are open to the Light of Christ from any source. Quakers originated in England in the early 1600's, and since then have sought a direct relationship with the divine without any intermediator.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our way of worship is unique. Come experience it.
